Om Malik posted a 20-minute video interview with Brad Feld on his blog - GigaOm.com. They cover a lot of ground and Brad provides some sound advice for entrepreneurs and startups. Robin Wauters, a TechCrunch writer based in Belgium, interviewed Joe Stump during the Next Web conference held in Amsterdam during the last week in April. Joe, a former Digg employee, is currently the CTO of Boulder based startup SimpleGeo along with Matt Galligan. The interview talks in detail about SimpleGeo, a bit on their pricing model, and location tactics from the big boys - Twitter & Facebook.

Niel Robertson, currently building Trada into his next successful empire, recently showed up on Mixergy with Andrew Warner. They talk about his past and the success Niel had as a co-founder with Service Metrics. Service Metrics took on the task of measuring how quickly web sites load in different parts of the world. The company was eventually sold for $280 million. Andrew and Niel also talk about Trada in this interview. After a 15-minute break the Entrepreneurial Impact Award was given to Julie Penner, a Student at the Leeds School of Business School of Law University of Colorado. The second half included two panels. The first was moderated by Brad Bernthal and discussed Place and Iteration: Lessons From Storage. The panel included Jesse Aweida, Kyle Lefkoff, James Linfield, and John Spiers, The final panel discussed Innovation and The Architecture of Geography. John Barbour moderated this panel which included Meredith Banasiak, Sharon Matusik, Bill Mooz and Joe Zell.

There was multi-camera video being streamed within the campus building, and we were told that it will be available as an archive. We will update this post if video surfaces.
SlopeViews is a company based in Vail, CO that creates interactive 360° spherical videos. The company uses a Dodeca 2360 camera that synchronizes 11 video streams and 3 channels of audio that captures high resolution footage and sound in every direction. The result is a video that can be interacted with by clicking and dragging the mouse in any direction. Here is an example:
SlopeViews uses the same technology as Google Street View and the company behind the camera and software technology is Immersive Media based in Calgary, Alberta Canada. SlopeViews plans to produce and deliver interactive videos for ski resorts, golf courses, sporting events, music festivals and "anywhere else immersive video can help people experience a remote environment".
SlopeViews was recently featured on 9News.com and talked about their new ski resort mapping application - OnSnow

Tyler Tysdal, Managing Director of Mantucket Capital, joined Brad Feld and Brad Bernthal at CU's Atlas building for Entrepreneurs Unplugged, an ongoing Silicon-Flatirons event. Tyler talked about his past experiences which started with investment banking firm Alex. Brown & Sons. The storytelling gets very interesting when Tyler explains how he learned the process of due diligence from his business partners who embezzled several million dollars and committed bank fraud. This lead to Tyler's 100% entrepreneur stage i.e. wear all the hats - do everything, where he started five health care companies, Sports Shares, a fractional luxury suite club, various real estate investments and other "alternative investing".
We had some technical difficulties with our recording and only managed to get the first half off the event, which is unfortunate since there was much more great information flowing from both Tyler and Brad Feld. We felt it was worth posting the roughly 30-minutes of audio that did turn out.
The Colorado American Marketing Association recently hosted Winston Binch, Partner / Managing Director of Interactive at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, during their Digital Dynamics series - a four part educational series showcasing the latest success stories, emerging trends and future technologies in digital marketing. Winston's presentation covered creative tactics and strategies that CP+B utilizes to make brands famous, change culture, connect with customers, and deliver business results, in an ever evolving digital landscape.

The presenting companies for the 2010 Winter Venture Capital in the Rockies conference were split into two tracks - one featuring Clean Tech companies and the other featuring Technology companies.
