Boulder New Tech Meetup Videos

Another successful live broadcast of the Boulder New Tech Meetup is under the belt.  Past videos and future broadcasts can be found here - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/bdnt

We were able to break up the individual presentations into separate videos using the Ustream Producer software.  First up was the "Fireside Chat" discussing Google's Fiber for Communities Project which would bring 1 Gbit/s speeds to Boulder homes and businesses if selected.  http://boulderfiber.com/

The first company presentation was KyteViewer - the next generation content viewer - http://www.kyteviewer.com

Next up was TweetSpecials - http://tweetspecials.com

Vidli presented their solution for online video monetization via buying, selling and renting videos - http://vidli.com

Pegshot presented their photo / video service meant to help you answer the question "what's happening where you are?" - http://www.pegshot.com

The last presentation was a demo of Boxee - http://www.boxee.tv

BDNT Video February 2, 2010

We were able to successfully live broadcast the February Boulder New Tech Meetup.  The event provided an opportunity to test the Ustream Producer desktop client that was released this week.  The application allows for mixing audio, video and graphics in real-time.

The room was filled to capacity, likely due to Jason Calacanis' presence and candid "fireside chat" about the Colorado chapter of the Open Angel Forum, which begins February 3rd.  Here is the full archived broadcast from the #BDNT in all of its 1:10:55 glory.  The audio during Jason's talk is very low.  We plan on fixing this and re-posting his entire talk shortly - stay tuned.
